Intel Core i7 950 si 975 Extreme

Intel a anuntat noile procesoare din gama Core i7 ce vor inlocui treptat actualele Intel Core I7 940 şi 965. Acestea sunt tot quad core-uri Bloomfield pe numele lor Intel Core i7 950 si 975 Extreme.
Modelul Core i7 950 este anuntat la pretul de aproximativ 649$ si este dedicat desktopurilor. Ca specificatii tehnice, acesta va avea o frecventa de 3.06Ghz, L3 de 8MB, 4 nuclee cu HT si un consum de 130W. Din 31 mai va fi dat spre comercializare.
Intel Core i7 975 Extreme va fi ceva mai puternic. Va avea frecventa 3.33Ghz si tot 8MB L3. Pretul va fi de aproximativ 1100$. Pentru acest model inca nu se stie data cand va fi gasit in magazine.

In curand vor apare si procesoare cu frecvente de 5Ghz - 10Ghz si tot asa, iar preturile vor scade mereu:)
